As I've said before there are always releases that most fans never hear about and/or something was put onto the drawing board but never followed through. I have a feeling (and it was heavily rumoured) that many fans believed "Black Dog on my shoulder" was to be the follow-up single to "If you tolerate this…" - indeed, most would have seen the promo clip that appears on the BBC documentary "From Despair to Here" which strengthened that thought, coupled with the fact that 6 track UK promo CD's for "This is my truth tell me yours" feature both this these tracks as well as the eventually released 4 singles. My biggest disappointment of the album was that "Ready for Drowning" was not released as a single but neither was "No Surface All Feeling" from "Everything Must Go" so what do I know?!!!
